If your chasing the informant and he in travel mode however, you can use an EMP missile which will pull him out of travel mode making him an easy target.
A katana accelerate faster and have faster travel drive then a kuraokami by like 1000m/s.
Plus that fact that EMP missile move at like trible to quadruple the speed of the kuraokami travel drive you can totally catch him just by traveling driving and launching the missile to force him out of it.
I just waited at the Yaki Base till my pilot did all the bacons. Short before the last one i targeted his ship and as soon as he stopped talking, shoot at him. Then he gets red and attacks you.
You need a good ship to fight him, because hes not easy and has some friends when you fight him in Yaki Space, but you can dock at the Yaki Base as soon as he dies, do repairs and then kill his friends after.
