I realize I'm a tad late to the party, but this is what I found that finally worked (for me at least) while upgrading my flight gear foe Elite Dangerous.
Winwing Plug-n-Pray 2.0
1. Unplug everything EXCEPT for your mouse and keyboard.
2. Reboot your PC.
3. Uninstall SimAppPro - do NOT delete the program, you will be reinstalling it..
4. Reboot..
5. Install SimAppPro as ADMINISTRATOR.
6. Finish install and close program.
7. Find the shortcut it put on your desktop, right click on it and click on Properties.
8. Click on COMPATIBILITY, CHECK the box @Run this program as Administrator.
9. Click OK.
10. Reboot..
11. Open SimAppPro via shortcut.
12. ONE AT AT A TIME.. plug-in you joystick - it "should" show-up in SimAppPro. If not.. you messed up somewhere, start over.
13. Plug-in your throttle - it "should" show-up in SimAppPro.
14. After they show-up in SimAppPro - click on the blue squares one @ a time and update the firmware for each.
15. Then click on the blue squares one @ a time and CALIBRATE each controller.
16. Then click on the blue squares one @ a time and TEST each controller and SAVE the results on your PC.
17. Then click on the blue squares one @ a time and click on the square that says "32-button mode" and put each controller into 32-button mode.
18. Exit/close SimAppPro and..
19. Reboot (last time - I swear!!)
20. Open SimAppPro and everything should be good to go!
Now you can add all the other USB stuff to your OTHER hub and leave this one alone. Trust me, if you begin to add-back all your old crap after going through all this just to get your new toys up and runnin'..
If at anytime you lose connection to your WW stuff, or SimAppPro freezes or something else happens.. unplug everything and start back at Step 10 - and send all that superfluous bs to a new hub.
Hope it helps!
(I've only used SimAppPro a little and I already don't like it..)
Hey finally got around to trying this, Winwings software seems to be working but it looks like when I put it into 4 x 32 mode, X4 still only sees 1 Winwing input, maybe because they're all named the same? Have you had this issue?
