However how do I know when the next tide will hit? Are they Timed every 30minutes or should I just wait in the system with SETA on and wait for the announcement to take shelter?
edit: tried the other anomolys, still cant get back to leap
I enter when the hazard pops up with the sky going firey.
this... exactly this..
Where exactly is the anomaly? I can't remember and want to go back there.
Just forget about it. It is okay to just blacklist all the ToA sectors.
I dont know if sector is random too. But my portal is in "Avarice 5 Dead end".
Other than that, it's just a slog. You have to personally fly through the rift. Cant automate resource collection. And if you get busy elsewhere and forget about it for a while your stations in Avarice will slowly get blown to bits over time. And your great reward for doing all this is having a handful of small stations to sell a single unit of goods to at a time.
The ONE THING that would have made this DLC worth the money would be if the Casinos actually functioned and you could really go in and play blackjack and slots and roulette. But that es striktly verboten.
Or make it so the NPC pirates can board other vessels. That would add a cool twist and a reason to have marines stationed on every capital ship.
Anyways, to get in the stupid anomaly you have to wait for the tide to pass (you won't take damage if you're close to the anomaly) and wait for it to show blue lightening/sparks. Once it's sparking you can go to Leap of Faith.
I love the mechanic now that I understand and got used to it. Adds a lot of excitement. In fact, I built a viewing station as close to the sun as possible - just for fun.
BTW, if you set up a blacklist rule your ships will leave and run to safety on their own.
