Reaching Leap of Fate a second time
Hello, I was wondering if there is a way to leap of faith after the mission which takes you there. I'm assuming there is. As I understood you need to wait for the tide event but is there a timer when this will happen after the missions? Because otherwise the anomalies don't bring you there.. and randomly waiting for an event without knowing when it might happen is pretty sad..

I did not complete the mission where you need to destoy a VIG station, dunno if that makes a differnce.

its the very same anomaly.. every time directly after a tide.

Thank you for your reply.

However how do I know when the next tide will hit? Are they Timed every 30minutes or should I just wait in the system with SETA on and wait for the announcement to take shelter?

the tides are roughly one ingame hour apart from each other.. Tide Break will also announe roughly 15 min before the next one is about to hit.

its not working for me, im using the anomoly that had my nav beacon damaged and when i enter during a tide it just throws me into random places

edit: tried the other anomolys, still cant get back to leap

I enter when the hazard pops up with the sky going firey.

not during but directly AFTER the tide... this anomaly needs to be charged, otherwise its just like any other anomaly.

As far as I understand it, it is after the hazerdous region segment. The actual tide passes (I too assumed that you wait for the wave and go out while its hazerdous), everything gets hazerdous and then it passes. As soon as the hazard passes you head through the anomaly.

How much time to do you have to go through the anomaly before it becomes un-charged again?

Where exactly is the anomaly? I can't remember and want to go back there.

I highly recommend to forget about leap of faith after the quest.
Just forget about it. It is okay to just blacklist all the ToA sectors.

Worst mechanic in the game. The player should be able to get tide announcements via Alert if they have a satellite or ship in any Avarice sector.

Leap of faith anomaly is in the middle of the sector or slightly south of it. At least how it was told here in the forum. Mine one match this pattern.
I dont know if sector is random too. But my portal is in "Avarice 5 Dead end".

Yeah this whole setup just isn't any fun. It was a cool "oh wow!" moment getting see a piece of Ancient tech up close. It hasn't been since the HUB that has happened.

Other than that, it's just a slog. You have to personally fly through the rift. Cant automate resource collection. And if you get busy elsewhere and forget about it for a while your stations in Avarice will slowly get blown to bits over time. And your great reward for doing all this is having a handful of small stations to sell a single unit of goods to at a time.

The ONE THING that would have made this DLC worth the money would be if the Casinos actually functioned and you could really go in and play blackjack and slots and roulette. But that es striktly verboten.

Or make it so the NPC pirates can board other vessels. That would add a cool twist and a reason to have marines stationed on every capital ship.

Anyways, to get in the stupid anomaly you have to wait for the tide to pass (you won't take damage if you're close to the anomaly) and wait for it to show blue lightening/sparks. Once it's sparking you can go to Leap of Faith.

I love the mechanic now that I understand and got used to it. Adds a lot of excitement. In fact, I built a viewing station as close to the sun as possible - just for fun.

BTW, if you set up a blacklist rule your ships will leave and run to safety on their own.
