Then as type in Data at top right
And watch the sector while the ships are exploring
When they have visual on a data vault it will be the only thing in the sector to show up
Repeat for all remaining sector
I found this pretty much garuntee you find all data vault outside initial borders
Just a warning I dont know if this might add the modified tag to your game? I wouldnt know as I always play the game modded
Some hints I picked up on... regular exploring will not reveal them permanently on the map. Regular data vaults can be seen on the map after exploring, even if it's dark - these will not. You need satellite vision or your own ships to see it.
You can see them quite clearly flying around if you come within 70 km of it... so it's good if you can set it so your head is on a swivel. Go full speed in a fast ship, either use the numpad to look or shift+1 to look with your ship.
Probably better just to save and get some explore mod on temporarily or something,
Yes, I double posted. This info is worth it
I have all mine show up when I type data vault.
You want the beta version (and not the standard install):
sectorsatellites_v1_0_1_1_betaToa
I just tested this and it worked great.
