i expect a rebalance on the new ZEUS E
the additional maneuverability and forward thrust is almost useless compared to serious nerf on the capacity for s class ship as a CARRIER.
keep in mind that 16 ship can easily be destroyed by NOT ONLY from the enemy turret but ALSO explosion from destroyed capital ship and station.

this has already been discussed hard in the forum of egosoft. most see the decision also very unfortunate chosen.

Races should have differences from each other.
They buff both Zeus E and Ody E 's speed to give PAR a unique character, I would say it is a huge improvements.

Dont use it, if you dont like it, the "old" one is still there.

Personally i really like those remakes, hope they do it for other factions as well.

They look really awesome now.

I think 16 Fighters for a carrier are pretty ok, but they need to adjust the other factions as well, because for now, a L Ship destroyer can carry more Fighters than the actual "carrier" that needs to be adjusted i think.

For a Destroyer 2 or 3 ship capacity would be ok i guess.

what change for zeus e : new repainted hull, SLIGHTLY better speed and strafe, HORRIBLE combine fire power due to lack of s class capacity.
the problem is :
i can't utilize it. it did not work both OOS and IS.
had use many different combo with S bomber, S meson, S laser.
didn't work, wiped in just less than 5 minutes by any carrier faction (especially terran).

Feels like it's more of a directed pressure sort of ship than a total air support thing. Fly in quick, soften up a target, move back while your heavy hitters move in. There is nothing preventing you from still assigning 100 fighters to it, just only a handful can be docked (for repairs) at once.

We have already discussed this with you in the forum. The result of most was that your so praised speed buff makes no sense. :steamsalty:

according to the motto... I am the fastest at the front, but I forgot my cannon....

The only acceptable reason for the change. You should revise all of them. That would be okay.

Try to assign 54 S ships to the Zeus (as almost every carrier can do at the moment, a destroyer even around 40.). What happens when the Zeus E flies off and you are there? It hangs up all the others and stands alone on the battlefield with 16-max. 24 units, while fighters and destroyers look on. It just doesn't work right now. The AI and fleet management are not responding well.

I have not looked under the skirts of every Teladi, but I would like to say that the intention was tried to implement this. As for the fight against the Xenon, you really can't expect the male Teladi to continue to count only the money.

Be that as it may, you rightly point out something here that does not quite fit together. But it has no impact on the gameplay itself. The Zeus E, and thus the deployment options, do play a role in the gameplay.

actually can't wait to go home and rethink some of the carrier role in my fleet.
i was actually locked in conventional thinking that carrier need to house all the s class inside it's hull. there are no such thing as teleport so i think it might work this time.

carrier zeus E as faster auxillary ship with limited function and crappy fire power but slightly faster.

Do that, if you want, write your experiences gladly in the forum. There is a very hotly discussed thread ;). So far, the experiences are rather meager. But who knows, maybe someone will find the needle in the haystack.

And my points still stand, 16S+8M is enough to counter any Xenon fighter fleet.
PAR has the biggest destroyer fleet in the game, it is their strategy and work well.
