The intel become useless if Sam tell them. (as told to you many time)
Personally in this run I'm going with handing over the Data.
Argon deserved it anyway for blowing up the Torus and teaming up with Berryl to release a Xenon Drone swarm on Earth lol.
I'm surprise Terran only wanted to weaken the Argon.
Guess those 200 year really calmed them down.
were do you find 200 years?
between the Torus Incident, the Gate Shutdown, Gate Reallignment, Stabilizing and present Day inGame are only 47 Years.
Points with bare (but clean) fingers towards the InGame Enzyclopedia.
Huh I swear it was 200. Every time I read a thread about how long the gate shutdown was the number keep changing it driving me nuts
Thanks, pretty sure I asked this specific question for the first time though ;) - I did ask in the Spoiler section too though, but no one answered-
But, can you even let Sam get away in the first place? I tried it for a bit yesterday and he just huddled up in the lower parts of the map. with his fleet. He seems like the most innocent in all this, and doesn't really deserve to die imho.
And yeah, the Torus destruction is the reason I want to go to war with them is my reason for wanting the war too...
How about I finish the mission and then just declare war on ANT and Argon? Will it be only me going to war, or will the Terrans join? I am the only one in their Ally list after all. (Which is funny, because Segaris should imho be in there too)
On my first play through of cradle of humanity I wanted to spark the war and reported my intel to him.
SCA attacked him and while I was enjoying the dogfight he died. (whoops
He still got the message across and the war sparked between ARG and Terran.
Edit: I also wouldn't say he innocent.
He is actively working to counter Terran Intelligence after all he said so himself.
unless you trigger the War Skript via mission their Relations will stay unchanged.
Also... Segarians are neutral to Terra... they are not terrans but the People that got stuck in Sol during the mentioned 47 Years... no Terrans.
Earth was really happy when the Gates reopened and they could point their Finger to the Neptune Gate...
"look over there poor Souls that got stranded here... the Gate is wide open for you to explore new Grounds and leave Sol." "just do it already!
Hmm could they be at war by default then, or randomly declare war on each other? I'm pretty sure I saw a Syn unleash hell onto the Argon Warf... I must admit I didn't scan it though, so it could have been SCA.
The TER fleets are realy amazing and doing a great job at punishing ANT and later ARG..... and maybe even more
TER are born to rule the universe
But yeah, that also plays into my treason for wanting a war... I have a ship, and repair, yard in Getsu Fune, meaning all the really expensive Terran repairs will be done there.
I had the Spear of Odin as a guest there once, and it made me over 3M for joke repairs.
Here we have real Egosoft game design again!
FORCING you into things you would have never ever considered.
Most likely engaging this citizen, even in a fully allied sector, will turn whatever it's there to hostile as, let's face it, you will make some criminal action.
So I think like this:
TER treated me like a hired gun from the start: I had no sense of belonging to the faction as their missions were both expensive and lower-grade rewarding. No grade promotions, no recognition, lower then acceptable more "concrete" rewards (meaning cash or ships).
Then I will ACT like a hired gun: "Ok. Give me, let's say... 100 MILIONS (at least) to affoard the risks of finding myself into a turned hostile entire sector and to cover my needs to "settle" the sector faction down OR this guy will keep to be YOUR problem, NOT mine".
Bye bye Delilah.
I will just forget about him and let TER manage their own business (meaning, knowing Egosoft game design, that most likely this guy will keep floating around till I get tired of the game with no real consequences).
