Simple Microlattice Factory

Hi All,

What are the modules I need for a simple micro lattice factory? Cheap as possible.

For lettuce i don't know.. don't think thats a Ware we have in the Game... and if it would be a Farm Module propably.

If you refer to Metallic Microlattice however you need only a few things.

A Dock, a Pier (optional), a Solid Storage, a Liquid Storage & a Container Storage.

You can build for "cheap" if you exchange some Terran Modules for their Commonwealth counterparts.

A standard 3M6S Dock, Medium Container, small Liquid and Solid Storage from either Argon, Teladi or Paranid (Split if you have that DLC) will suffice to get your Factory running.

Including some M Mineral & Gas Miners.

I have no idea why i wrote lettuce....though it is rather late :P ok great and then i need to supply it with what resources?

Yep have all DLC....cool so mix and match from different races?

Think I have all that just wanted confirmation before setting this up. Thanks

Production Resources are Helium, Ore and Energy.

To build that Station its obviously Claytronics, Hull Parts... Computronic Substrate &Silicon Carbide (for the Lattice Module) and the omni present Energy.

May i ask for what you need the Lattice?

Auto correct perhaps. And yeah you can mix, depending on where you build your factory you might have difficulties finding the resources though. I only started mixing when I lost so many miners that I need a dock that can handle more of them at once ;).

That being said, we are talking about a rather large station producing all three of the metallic Terran resources.

I see large buy orders for lattice throughout my Terran space. So i thought lets get into production rather than act as a go between.

If you are going for looks, you can clip some parts through others btw, looks really great if you want to have your factory right in the middle of a Habitat ring : )

Microlattice is definitely the cheapest of the 3 main factories for terran. It uses next to nothing during the production cycle, can probably slap 5 or 6 modules on even a basic station and do just fine. The first one i built is a T pier, luxury dock, 3 small storage and then the production buildings.

Profit wise it'll take a while for AI to come by and buy it up, probably the least profitable of the 3 core production stations for terrans but its super handy to have for expanding into other factories.

I prefer Computronic Substrate. Harder to set up, but makes more money. Plus unlike Microlattice you need it for every Terran build. You could go a bit further and produce Silicon Carbide though.
