Station are picky from wher to buy
Or adjust price for energy cells or leave it on auto an reduce storage capacity for energy cells to have dynamic prices if you storage hits full capacity for EC the price go down to minimum
Everybody look for good price of goods
Managers stars mean how many sectors they can go to sell/buy stuff
Last if you play with restriction make sure your faction is there under sell otherwise you ship can not sell buy wears
the ship is assigned to the station and should trade for the commander, but its still only flying around and doing nothing
* the trader is assigned to trade energy cells by the manager (see information->behaviour tab for trader ware list)
* there is a sell offer for energy cells (see station logical view)
* there are energy cells actually in stock to sell
* there is a customer willing to buy energy sells within range of the trader (see information->behaviour tab for trader gate range)
* the price the willing customer (within range) is willing to pay is greater than the current sell price shown the sell offer on the logical view.
At least one of these things will not be true and be why your trader is not selling anything.
