Is there a way to move my HQ to another system?
It's annoying that it is played in a sector that is owned by another faction.

Yes do all the teleportation research and it will unlock the PHQ teleport research to be able to move it anywhere. I currently have mine residing in my homeworld of Segaris

Yeah almost done with Teleport thankfully.

It might be "annoying" but it's the most central sector in the game, allowing the fastest access to all others... Even if I tried to terraform (only one terraforming project is worth it's salt though) I would immediately put it back in place and use it as a Trading Station/Shipyard/Wharf/whatever....

Yeah it is but I dislike the astroids around it.
Plus that I can't police in the sector.
