The simplest way to do this is to:
1. Set the sell orders for each ware on the production station to "my faction only" and manually set the sell price to minimum.
2. Set the buy order at the trade station for each ware to "my faction only" and set the price manually to say 15% above minimum.
3. Set the sell order at the trade station for each ware to "no restrictions" and set the price manually to a number a few credits lower than most of the customers within range are generally paying - you should consult the trade overlay on the map to judge this and be prepared to experiment and reevaluate pricing policy.
Once you get these settings right then the production station traders will ship all the production station's wares to the trade stations with no problem providing of course it is within range.
tbh why isnt there a "command" or setting or anything that just say "grab everything from point A and bring it to point B, i feel like it is extremly complicated for not much ...
It can seem insanely complicated when dealing with an initial simple case like this. There is a way to do it simply by using a standalone unassigned trade ship using Repeat Order but that has the disadvantage that it's inflexible and requires constant updating if circumstances change.
The reason why it works the way it does is so a production station can supply any number of your own stations and/or sell to NPC stations as well if you want it to efficiently according to demand. Once you figure out the details it's extremely flexible and enables you to do more or less less anything you want it to automatically according to your wishes/orders.
You will see the value of this as your empire expands, it works very well once you get it set up right.
there is a repeat order loop its a bit basic but can do the job.
Personally i use trade station just to export excess works far better.
Set the Buy price to low (not too low Trade station AI wants to make a profit) and restrict trade to you and sell price to you and your liking, if i want to sell fast i just leave it on auto. additionally you can forbid your traders selling wares by restriction the ware to yourself but not the other races (trade rule). This works fine for me and i like it that way too.
it is far far FAR too complicated for not much, a simple command saying "take all stuff from point a and bring to point B" would have been so soooo much simpler but no ...
downloading a mod, this is just pure madness ...
giving them several M traders else they will prefer to buy biggest profit maker.
Setting all my factories in the loop to sell only to me and the factorys to auto with atleast 1 L cargo storage. The trading station gets to set that they only buy from me but at low-medium prices dont set it to the lowest the managers dont like that al all.
For selling in the trading stations i either restrict myself so npc buy it (keep it on autoprice) or let everybody accesss it so the trading station acts as additional buffer till my factorys are full. Keep in mind you need excess production for this to work and its designed for a closed loop. SInce its the easyst to work with. Its a simple buffer overflow situation and should work rocksolid
