Though, i am uncertain that this is a requirement for this Achievement...
Have you done all the required Research?
Have you scanned all the EMP Leaks or just the ones you need for the Blueprint to drop?
I honestly forgot how i unlocked this one all that time ago...
When I shoot off the EMP I get 4 leaks. Scanning the first gives the blueprint. Scanning the 2nd and 3rd gives nothing. Scanning the 4th gives permanent trade knowledge or some other goody. I've done it roughly half a dozen times. The achievement never pops out.
Has anyone gotten the achievement in the past, oh, couple of weeks?
The blueprint has to be the last scan you make. Every time I've tried, the blueprint has shown up on the first scan.
The station manager warned me about my actions but wasn't attacking, same as I've had happen with many other EMP attempts. This was a Terran trade station with a faction rep on board, but I snagged the Terran hex-dock from Segaris' trade station with a faction rep on board and didn't get the achievement. As near as I can tell, it's straight up dumb luck that the data leak sequence was different this time.
I had gone to each station one at a time to get one blueprint.
Had all of the "Commonwealth" blueprints before realizing I didn't have the achievement.
So I went to Terra... and got it "Second Try"
You want to Keep emping the same station.
Emp it, scan all nodes.
Then Emp it again, they start to get angry.
Scan the nodes and it will not blueprint on the first node.
Seems a bit like a bug.
But at least there is a workaround.
