I already started using the phrase "hey he´s terraning" when some pilot just circles around doing nothing when he should be doing SOMEHTING"
Not surprised. The I is much faster, and when flanked or tailed by something with a lot of firepower, the Asgard is gonna have a bad time.
E: Fun thing is, the quest is now stuck at "current location of terran commander".
Apparently, there won't be another fleet and the quest is now borked lol.
Well your right, they have sent 3 waves of this to attack the Yaki on my game, and none of them have even made it to the yaki system yet. They managed to take out several xenon defense stations, but since almost all the fighters die to the radiation in the first damn xenon system without firing a single shot... the remaining capitals don't have a prayer in hell from then on out. The Spear of Odin is a beast of a ship, but in the hands of the A.I. it's a total pile of garbage that never brings it's guns to bear.
This is really the developers fault of course, beyond the game's hilariously bad A.I. we all know of. They decide to take the extemely long sceneic route to get to the yaki system instead of the simple straight shot through Funa.
At least the terrans will EVENTUALLY win since they magically spawn the ships for this quest, and the xenon don't. So the xenon are getting wiped out slowly, a few stations at a time.
The I is faster than the Syn too. Syn is faster than Asgard, but still below 100 ms, the I has like 137 ms.
All you could do is face it and close the gap via traveldrive.
I thought it would probably have some forward weapons, and other than that jjust a few turrets, so I tried passing over it's right side.
Still no idea if it had forward main weapons like my Syn, but I did manage to take out some of the foremost side turrets before it managed to shred me.
How long will it take to the next wave? The quest just stands on location of terran commander for me now, after they got wiped by the I in Matrix.
Start a new game
Put a Gateway Defensive grid up (Plenty of guides)
-> Anything jumps through gate = Explode
Only takes about 8 hours of construction and 4 hours to haul everything over manually.
AFAIK, the Xenon I has no main batteries, but makes up for it with a large array of L-turrets.
