your feelings about VRO? - before i use it

i never used VRO but i wish to know what feelings do you have about it, is it good? not really? somewhere in the middle?

VRO is for those who have experienced vanilla and want a different challenge, pretty much a different game.

Go vanilla with some other basic mods first. Good experience. Then, when you want to relearn everything, play in a different way, go VRO.

im veteran to vanilla, but never used VRO, i was reading about it, but need to know how you guys see this mod

As you need to do a fresh start with it anyways, you can just give it a shot, see if it's for you, and if not just unsubscribe and continue a previous game.

a way better Game in many things. its a other game more like the old X parts and less arcady
like normal x4 in some ways but it have its flaws.

For my part it make the game playable .
and i played all Parts since X: Beyond the Frontier

If you like Big ship battles it's good, but fighters are trash in VRO. If you like playing in fighters, forget VRO.

im good with that, but you say that its not worth to build them for battle? just as guard for traders?

If you are refering to fighters.... don't build them at all.

A Xenon P will one-shot any fighter.

If they get hit, I can dog fight and so can high (3+ star) npcs. I also find the fighters to be that much more healthy, in vanilla they go down way faster. I find fighters are very good for screening other fighters and using bombers to follow up attacks, I rarely need anything bigger than a M ship to take out large ships

indeed they have more HP
