Where are the Xenon I?

I started new game for 4.0 Terran protectorate start. I am about 40 hours into my game now and I don't use SETA much. The Xenon are not really doing anything, have seen a few Ks but no Is. Have they been nerfed? The ZYA even took one of ther sectors tharkas cascade really early into the game. I hope not because playing as the protectorate I actually want to protect the galaxy from a xenon invasion like for the RP.

Don't worry, xenon tend to get stronger as the game goes on especially since their economy is very simple and stable compared to other factions. Granted though I have not seen any I's either but I do use the faction enhancer mods which might affect this

I only saw one I and I killed it. Nothing after that since though.

ever seen that the split strong faction is the terrans don't need them to defeat xenon! and as a protectorate you have to find out what they want

Each game is different. One game had the Xenon almost take out the Teladi faction leader base before I could get my first promotion at 10. Next game I started had them working primarily on the Paranind sectors.

You mean like the Terrans who can just waltz them over, unless there already is an I in the system?

Anyone Leave the Yaki Amplifier up? Did it increase Xenon activity or strength in your game?

i reckon ill just play vanilla till my PHQ can produce ships self sufficiently and if by then the xenon don't make a move ill install a xenon buff mod or something

I've only seen one - It got annihilated by a single Argon Destroyer in OOS as it was just spinning in place apparently unable to deal damage to the destroyer... was odd

how do you set up an alert? Are they the same as the faction news things that pop up now and then on the bottom left of the HUD?

Xenon did receive a slight nerf, indirectly. With 4.0, turrets die very quickly when the player isn't present (quicker than 3.3), and since Xenon Ks don't have main guns, often times they fly around with no guns at all, being totally useless.

Only played one session in CoH so far and to me it looked like it took them, and everyone else, quite a while to ramp up production to pre 4.0 levels, probably due to mining changes and the increased infrastructure they make neccessary. After loosing the ships they start out with it takes them a while to send out I's and K's again, but at some point they started doing so.

4.0 Beta the Xenon was still kicking butt like no tomorrow.
I think what shifting the Balance is the Terran intervention fleet which goes out and take Xenon Menace down a peg.

Like seriously whenever I think oh god the Xenon are winning!
A fleet of Terran just waltz on by and slap the Xenon back down.
