No reputation increase with PIO and TER

Hi,
I got +19 reputation with PIO and +16 with TER. As it seems the reputation is froozen at this point. I have been playing for several days now (and also tried SETA) -> it remains at the same level. Can it be that only quests can get you beyond a certain level?

Would be interessting to know if I am the only one.

There is some sort of background reputation bar for each level and it requires more and more rep exp for each level. It doesn't require quests to progress further, but other sources of rep gain become trivial, and even with quests it takes a handful of big ones to reach each new level at 20 and beyond.

You say you're using seta, but are you trading with them or anything? It doesn't go up overtime without doing anything.

Auto trade in their sector is always a good one to get free rep. Also the more rep you have, the less rep you will earn. Getting to 20 rep is my personnal goal as you will have everything you can buy

Thanks for the replies. I got fully integrated shipyards (the produce all needed parts on their own) in both PIO and TER sectors. I got +30 with all friendly factions, execept TER, PIO and ALI (+20) and it worked just fine via trading. My impression is that my ships keep trading but without impact on my rep with PIO/TER. Astasias explenation makes the most sense I believe. I will try do some more quests (which I anyway very much enjoy) from TER and PIO.

PIO and TER had a specific economy system, trading may be tedious in various way with them, just make sure you had enought solar panel in the right spot to producing corectly, check your manager level, in sol system, manager under 3 is useless as they use only theire own component on trading.
