Please allow us to sell security slicers, decryption, etc to the Black Market

I have 25+ million credit worth of theses things and I cannot sell them. Doesn't matter how high my rep is with the any faction. I don't use these things and never have. I feel like I can make profit with these things and help me replenish my ships and build up my stations.

you can sell it at the nearest HAT free port trader. (SCA free port -5 rep refuse to let you sell it)

I think you have to find the black marketeer by finding a data leak on the station, which connects you to them and shows link to the bar. (But that might be out of date...)

You still can't actually sell them to even black marketeers. At least not with +20 rep. Perhaps you need 30 rep... more likely the devs just forgot to code in the rep requirement though.

+28 Rep is it and you can sell these expensive buggers to the Vendors at any Hatikvah Freeport once you have reached that Reputation.

i remember grinding to 20 rep with hatikvahfor 3 days , i just gave up and installed mod that allows you to sell em

Oh so it does just require max rep. But is it ONLY Hatikvah? The black market vendors in random stations also tell you that "they need to like you more first"

+28 is a bit steep considering by that time you are already probably extremely rich. Though, it is nice to know. I have made so much money just selling parts and caviar from having small patrol fleets at the gates the xenon jump in with a ship collecting the drops. If I do this for every jump point and can eventually sell the decrypters, I could be making hundreds of millions off drops alone.

Hatikvah are the easiest find and are not Reputation Locked from the get go, all other Factions can Spawn the Blackmarket but it is very rare that you get one from Argon, Teladi or whom ever... most times it will be either HAT or SCA.

Ofc it is even possible to get high enough Reputation with SCA since 4.0 and Terraforming... just make their Homeplanet habitable and they will love you for that.

The easiest way to turn Security Decryption Systems into money is by hacking trade terminals in stations your NPCs trade with often.
If you can be bothered walking to a trader to sell them you can walk into an engineering section to hack a trade terminal and quite possibly make millions off a single SDS.

Those things last a long time, like 30-40 hours or something. That's a lot of possible trade volume.

For Security Slicers there's missions from scanning to sabotage turrets on a station somewhere for half a million credits if you need some quick cash.

Security Bypass Systems are completely useless though. i've only ever needed them as a delivery item for black market missions, but they have about as much game use as space flies afaik.
Do those actually do anything?
