Sparkeling Radio Leaks or Red Dot Data Leaks?
How are you scanning them?
Ship Scanners are less effective than the Space Suit Scanner.
Are you 100% that you do not own the Module in question already?
Ok, i guess i forget that whole thing. Thanks, i thought i need only to find such a sparke thingie on a module i need.
If theres even more and only a chance to get the blueprint i prefer to make 50 Millions cash in the same time i would need to invest to spare 5 Million
4 data leaks will appear and you'll get the blueprint from one of them. 1 of the other leaks will normally give a discount at that factory or something similar.
Once you're in the swing of it it's done in a couple of minutes. Finding the precise module you're after can be a bit bothersome sometimes though.
Radio Leaks that give you Missions and Dataleaks that give you Discounts, Blueprints, Informations and such.
From your answer i take that you have tried to scan a Radio Leak (the Sparkeling ones), those will only give you Missions.
What you are looking for are the Red Glowing Orbs that are attached to some kind of Wires.
As mentioned, when you Scan them in your Ship you only have a certain Chance to get the Blueprint of the Module it is attached to.
If you scan them in your Space Suit its almost every time a guaranteed Scan (unless you already have the Blueprint).
Just to mention it, the 3rd Option to get Scannable Leaks is the usage of a Space Suit EMP Bomb.
Those will create around 4 Micro Data Leaks you can only Scan while in your Suit.
Given you have Researched the Type of Module you want 1 of the 4 Leaks is a guaranteed Blueprint Scan.
Also, before the Question even comes up...
You can not get Blueprints for Equipment Dock or Shipyard Modules via Leak Scanning, they are too well encrypted for any Scan.
Since johntarmac was first i set his answer as most helpfull, that doesnt mean yours would be not equal helpfull emyknock
Red dots are often hard to see. I found them a lot more when I turned the music down and kept my thrust low enough that the engines didn't make much noise. Ears beat eyes for these things.
Rarely, one of them will be oriented in some crazy way that puts the red dot inside the station. You'll have to use the ship scanner instead of the space suit scanner for those.
