An easy go-to solution is to build a Stimulant factory and sell to Segaris. That'll generate a steady profit.
Other than that I would place satellites all over the place to be aware of trade opportunties.
While E-cells are not the most profitable, you get a very consistent cash flow if you buy them cheap at mercury and sell them in the outer sphere.
Protein paste however is very profitable and you can set up traders and trade stations for those.
Generally speaking ressource trading is way more important in Terran space than in commonwealth space. Gas especially I found to be very profitable.
Also while the general demand of Terran wares is low, they´re still exceptionally expensive, so you´ll still make decent money if you produce them yourself.
Regarding the PS, there´s currently no way to buy an Asgard or Syn.
right now I have 3.5M in the bank, so nowhere near able to build a station.
the demand for sillicon IN sectors with silicon isnt so great.
if i am to sell it outside of asteroid belt or Getsu Fune, I have to give orders manually for each ship, thats gonna become very tedious very fast.
or is there anyway to automate it more that I dont know about? the only option I have with all my crews is auto-mine sector, currently.
and from my understanding g aining stars is very long, right?
id like to remain friends with Terrans for the time being (im nowhere close to the point where I can get and use them right now anyway, it was mostly curiosity :) )
also im wondering why they appear in the build ships list at all then
Or you could just build a mining station. A dock + solid/liquid storage costs under 500k and will make mining and selling resources much simpler.
Due to the random chance of stations spawning on a gamestart outside key stations like wharfs and shipyards my best advice is to analyze the market conditions as best you can and then make a decision on how you want to proceed.
I personally ended up sending small ship mining groups out to every faction to build rep up anyway after I did enough missions to be able and dock and then gradually built up a fleet of medium miners.
You also get a Syn for free eventually during the Yaki plot.
The Syn is available for free simply by progressing far enough in the Terran storyline.
Most players who get an Asgard early on, get it through drive-by boarding.
I'm pretty sure there's an abandoned Asgard in one of the sectors. It's missing its main gun, sadly, so you'll have to butter up the Terrans into selling you one.
Just train 100 veteran marines first, fill an XL transporter with 206 marines.
I have found protein paste to be highly profitable in Terran sectors but everyone's start can be a little different.
how do you instruct an AI to drop satellites?
