Secure Containers

Okay, so dumb question of the hour ... where in the heck can I locate "secure containers" needed to craft EMP bombs (and regular bombs)?

Have had no trouble gathering lode stones and remote detonators … along with tons of illegal wares from destroyed Xenon craft - but no darned secure containers!

According to what I've been able to find, destroyed Xenon should at least occasionally drop them, but I've murdered gobs of them with no joy. Then I went to every pirate station I could locate to get some … no secure containers.

Finally, I went to the hull parts factories in Argon Prime, since some cat in a forum asserted they could be found there … nope.

Beginning to think this is some sick snipe hunt.

Masstraffic tends to drop them, regardless if it is hostile or not hostile.

Geez, have an easier time locating abandoned destroyers than those secure containers.

Those things are rare as hens' teeth.

Same, i've manage to invade a Xenon sector for terran achievement with Yaki ...
And in almost 4 hours of fighting xenon station, posting me where theire drone appear, killing hundred of them and still nothing ...

Look for conflict areas where two factions are going at it. I have found a dozen or so at every major conflict area. Random drops. Good luck hunting.

Just find the pirate bases, they sell fully constructed emp bombs.

Most of mine have come from lockboxes. Having a few explorers set to explore and collect lockboxes seems to work well. I think you could also camp Xenon mass traffic around their stations.

Station sellers at HAT or SCA stations usually sell them. Or, you can just buy EMP bombs outright in pirate bases.

The YAK pirate base sells a few. But yea you basically need to find the underground black market to buy most of that stuff. Id recommend buying all the illegal goods you can find because youll need em later on

Finding the black market is so tedious. Scanning hundreds of statins till you find the right quest giver is no fun.

this is funny, I parked my cerberus outside the Getsu Fune Savage Spur gate, and have been farming xenon for hours now, literally 10 million in inventory goods, but not remote detonator

Go to an SCA station. Start killing civilian ships, not just criminals, but any civilians. As long as you do not hit the station, you will never get a rep loss, and nobody will lift a finger to stop you. Many of the civilian ships will drop secure containers. It does feel like cheating though.
