Wrong.
If you help the Curb's they take over a big chunk of FRF territory and Stations.
ZYA does take over a few sectors leaving FRF with a handful (pitty number) of sectors.
As Curbs did get the previous FRF wharf and Shipyard FRF has to rebuild this will take some time.
So be careful who you want to support in the struggle just saying.
The only honest party is ZYA they also are the only Party that is interested in the longterm well being the Curbs on the other hand well agenda much.
FRF has no say in any of the two choices you can make and will suffer regardless.
I agree the way you put it, but for me FRF and Curbs go hand in hand... My "problem" is that I pre plan and once everything is "set in stone" I usually loose all interest and start over again following a different route
I realize this is a somewhat old post from last year, but....
I basically have the choice between creating 3 warring split factions, or creating 1 unified split faction? Did I understand that right?
On one hand no and on the other it is more complicated.
If you support ZYA the Patriarch stays in power and wages a open War with the Curbs.
Depending on your Universe state and health of the Split factions ZYA and CUB are fighting to the Death and FRF is caught in the middle as kinda an neutral Party.
If you support CUB instead they overthrow the FRF Patriarchs take lots of territory and wage a war against the ZYA shortly after that ZYA will be replaced with a new faction that does not want to expand.
So depending on what your goals are you can't win no matter what unless you are a dispicable Argnu lover and even as one such as this even the Argnu Federation gets screwed over by the CUB.
Go ZYA if you want a strong military capaign that will eventually fizzle out depending on your Universe still ZYA should be the Winner.
Go CUB if you want Chaos for a short period followed by a coldwar scenario with RHY and CUB dominating most of the former ZYA and FRF territory.
Regardless FRF is the big loser and the promises of freedom from CUB for the ARG are supposed to just been a ploy using the slaves as tools.
To sum it up the Split Plots are lose lose situation for the entities involved and the player has to decide what is the best choice there wont be a eternal war so no chance of big profits for the war mongers either.
After I backed ZYA they started hitting the argon hard. There's rattlesnake groups rolling all the way into argon prime
ZYA can only reach two ARG Systems for Expansion Eleventh Hour and Guiding Star.
All other ARG Sectors are immune to ZYA expansion too how the War mechanics work.
This Said should HAT lose Hatikvahs Choice to ARG then ZYA would have one route into the ARG Core Territory.
The way the Universe is setup and the War mechanics work plenty of things would have too go wrong for the neutral factions so ZYA could end up as serious pressure for ARG.
