Deadzone

Deadzone adjustments do nothing on either or my joysticks or GamePad. Feels like it's hard coded for like 50% deadzone which makes my peripherals basically useless, and I don't really feel like mouse flying. Anyone have a fix?

because you have set your joystick wrong. Deadzone works fine. Look for my HOTAS guide.

That's odd. Mine is working fine as well. I have my deadzone set to 5% so it's pretty twitchy (which is the way I like it). I'm using a very old HOTAS, though. A Thrustmaster T-Flight HOTAS X. It works great. Sorry to hear you guys are having issues with your controllers.

Bold statement without knowing which settings I'm using and which HOTAS I have.

Anyway, I gave your profile a try and, surprise surprise, the deadzone issue is still there. Your profile has a deadzone of 25%. There is no difference from what I was experiencing before using it. I changed the deadzone to 0%. Still no difference. Same for 100%. If it works fine on your machine, with your hardware, doesn't mean that it will work the same way with any other hardware combination. I'm a developer, I wish it was like that.

i had the same issue with my hotas the way i fixed it.
select profile slot 2 for your hotas
and manualy config every option and the deadzone was basicly gone

i fixed it! go into settings > controls > general and then delete "secondary steering axis" "steer up" "steer down" "steer left" "steer right" rebind "steer up-down" to Y axis and "primary steering axis" to X axis and this will get rid of the horrible stick lag

OMG you are awesome! I was about to give up playing this game with my hotas because my deazone was crazy sluggish not your fix its butter smooth!
