S/M fab bay and L fab bay on same base?

Can we not have both a S/M fab bay and a L fab bay on the same base? I just built a L fab bay on my main base which has 2 S/M fab bays and I cannot build any L ships is why I'm asking. It's probably me overlooking something again. lol

I have built two L fabrication bays on a station that allready had a S/M. No issues there.

My PHQ has both an S/M wharf and an L Shipyard. It is fully self sufficient with all modules required for building ships.

There are 3 satellite stations... the two directly behind are a hi-tech factory and refineries, and there is an XL shipyard behind and to the right of the PHQ. The reason for that was that I required more room for the XL fab and it was easier to build another station than try to squash one onto the PHQ. This works fine for me both in terms of functionality and appearance ;)

Weird... I checked in the Plan and it's finished. I checked in the Logical screen and it's there too. It shows up on my list on the left in the Map also. But when I try to build I only get the option to build small/medium ships and noone is buying Large. I do have the BP for a Behe.

I have plenty of supplies. I make most of them at that station. But no joy. Can anyone think what might be causing the issue?

You may be missing required blueprints/components.
Check that you have all of the blueprints for all of the components required by a build order for a Behemoth or any other L class. For example, the engines will have to be L class and you cannot use M class for them.

Start from the beginning, make sure you actually bought the Behemoth bp and not something spelled similar. From there follow the steps as if you just got the money for the L fab and going through the plan to build etc, if everything checks out it could be an isolated event bug.

Well crap. lol Turns out you guys were right(and so was I). It was a user screw up. I could have sworn I bought the Behe BP. But I didn't remember buying it's main battery guns so I went to look as you requested and BAM!!!! I can now build L ships. =)

Heh, it happens to all of us sometimes ;)
Just be aware too though that you might observe that not all factions will buy a particular ship, because they want it to have certain types of module specific to different factions. So, in order to cater for everybody, make sure you get all of the different types of blueprint for each module, including faction variants, so that they can order the build as they want it.
