Transferring drops?
As I understand it the player can use ships to collect drops like eggs, crystals then
order the ship to deposit the drop at your HQ storage.

What is your HQ?

I just built an Administration Centre is this your HQ or do you nominate a station to be your HQ.

Or is any of this even working.

Playing version 3 beta.

Your HQ is literally the Player HQ you receive during the Boron Quest.

Hi, just to add, go to where Boso room is and on the left wall is the deposit "hole in the wall" great for placing illegal stuff until you get the bar opened for black market trading. you can also just dock here and right click and make the deposit that way. of course before all this you as the main player can go to another of your ships and ask the pilot to hand you his stuff then go about using it in the normal way.

Think of that one a bit more though as its handy to get a another of your ships to pickup stuff as he owns it until you take it off him.. thus if your stopped your clean.. Picking up drops is very lucrative for the spacefly eggs alone.... and as your already in the station, free from police stopping you..

Are you trying to transfers the suit inventory items over to yourself so your other ship isn't carrying potential illegal items, judging by the list you gave mentioned? I've been doing that method myself, and it's a manual task but takes a few seconds if you happen to be near the ship you want to transfer items with ( unless you want WARE items , aka: things you trade to other stations as goods , then that's a very similar task, but you cargo capacity might be different between ships and you risk leaving behind materials, but you go into the donor ships INFO MENU and tell it to drop cargo via the slider bar and clicking Drop )

Easiest method to transfer SUIT items WITHOUT DOCKING was to add the 2nd ship that was collecting drops to your fleet so it returns to you side when done collecting drops. Then , either in the map menu or just with the mouse cursor ( turn off direct mouse flight to free the cursor ) right click the donor ship and click the "drop inventory" option. A 2nd menu pops up asking if you want the items in a lock box. Say NO ( because you don't need it locked up for any reason, it just drops the crates you see after killing a ship normally with this method ) then if your ships are within 700 meters to 1km of each other which it normally is during fleet formations, you can just hold the "O" button to tractor beam all the crates to yourself!

Just don't do this method when the 2 ships are across the map from one and other, otherwise DO use a lock box or things will just disappear!

Thanks, easiest method is to select all ships with inventory, right click on ship, order ship to deposit inventory, ship will go to HQ, I teleport there and collect the lot.

Ships with inventory list is a bit messy though as it keeps expanding.
