Thrustmaster Hotas x Inverted Throttle

I have a Thrustmaster Hotas x and have gotten most everything set up the way I like it with one exception: The throttle is inverted. Push forward and you go backwards and vice versa.

I saw that there is an option to invert the throttle, but that seems to require me to hold a button down constantly to get the throttle to work in the correct direction. I couldn't see any option within the joystick setup to permanently invert the throttle axis.

Please tell me I missed something, as this is really counter intuitive and will wreck me for other games.

I think to do this you want to unbind the "invert throttle" control (ie so it is set to no button at all)
then come up one level until you see sections marked "Controls, Controller/Joystick, Mouse, Input Profiles"

Under Controller/Joystick you will hopefully see "Invert axes" and that's where you want to set it.

You’re a lifesaver. I have the x56 and just installed and set up joystick gremlin to deal with the ghosting issue and when I set the hotas up with x4 it inverted the throttle control
