The auto trader for AI can be annoying sometime but if you are the trader yourself it should be fine once you understand what goods go where.
Nothing like using that 50 percent discount to then sell for 110 percent prices lol.
It gonna be transport - courier - miner - gas miner and stuff like that.
So ore can't be carried by transport ship but can be carried by a miner for example so yah it way easier to know what ships is for what.
There are different types of cargo that ships can carry, for instance, all usable wares are shipped in container storage. But solid resource (ore, silicon, ice) need ships with solid storage, and gases need ships with liquid storage. But there are no size restriction in terms of ware types like in X3, where some ships could carry L type wares or smaller, and others only could carry S sized wares.
To take on passenger missions, all you need is a empty space on your ship for one extra crew. So if the max crew on your fighter is 3, make sure you have 2 or fewer crew or else there will not be enough room for the passenger.
