player shipyard / equipment dock does not build or repair! please help
Have a shipyard XL, S / M and equipment dock built to any amount of solid, liquid and container storage that are all full, but
Have a shipyard XL, S / M and equipment dock built to any amount of solid, liquid and container storage that are all full, but the station do not build or repair! Maybe someone has an idea what I'm doing wrong! Thx do not build or repair ! Maybe someone has an idea what I'm doing wrong! Thx

Do you have a ship trader? You need to assign crew to oversee it all.
Do you have the right blueprints.
You need all the right racial part and ship blueprints for the factions to trade with you.
Is it set to trade with others.
if you try to build a new ship of your own does it tell you there is a shortage of anything?
You may need a certain rank. (race rep)
Try setting the cost multiple down until something builds.
also what happens if you tell one of your ships to repair there?

also have the blueprints.
Race rap is almost all at 30
it doesn't say anything about the repair.
If I want to build a ship, they will be shown in the queue in my shipyard and that's it.

Do you have builder drones? Set in logical view. Has to be actually built, not just at 0 out of something that are waiting for materials.

I don't know what is the most effective amount per fabrication pay is, but I do know that you need them to build anything :)

I got the same issue. The maintenance bay on my shipyard won't even remove missiles and do repairs. Got crew, drones, rep, blueprints, money, materials. In logical view, the fab and maintenance bays show as ready and empty. AI stations have no such problem. The game engine is clearly not moving items from player shipyard queue to the code that simulates construction. Google shows similar issues from a couple years ago. It's always assumed to be player error. There is no reason the current item on queue shouldn't show up in logical view.

Sounds like you checked most of the boxes. One KEY area that's not automatically adjusted is storage size. You need to adjust storage size manually vs letting the station manager do it, especially with an XL FAB. Large ships take a lot of Hull parts, engine parts, Turrets. Manually set these to an amount to handle one at least but preferably multiples. A Raptor for example takes 30K hull parts if I remember correctly.. your station manager will allocate no where near enough. I have my set to 100K as an example. You have other FABs on this station as well so add those in to your calculations as well if you want to build at the same time. You'll find your station management costs rise considerably expanding storage.

Drones speed up construction but not having them won't stop construction. If you're not building it's usually due to lack of materials or storage not set to hold enough materials.

What do you see when you try to build a ship in the Ship build screen.. any mention of missing mats? Under station view in the map at the bottom you should see Ships in Construction and either ship orders or Unknown Ship. Your build should be at the top of the list.

You need to expand storage for more than just hull, engine, turrets... all of them on the far right ideally.

I also tried playing with storage allocations. Nothing triggered. I have more than enough materials on hand for a couple XL ships, even with automatic allocation. The whole design is Fab and Maintenance stuck together with storage units and habitats. Minimum waste. There is no yellow warning of insufficient materials. Anything I schedule is pushed to first in queue. Plenty of AI orders on queue, also not pushed to Fab units. Fab units are empty of intruding ships. Plenty of available crew on station. Over 300 builder drones. I can't even get them to unload the missiles off a pegasus vanguard.

I had a S/M Fab and a S/M Maintenance dock... ships were getting built in the maintenance dock, the Fab bays went unused, not even for trade docking. This was under 3.1b HF1. I removed the Maintenance dock since it's really not needed and a Fab can do repairs too. It would be better to have two FAB bays anyway on a Warf. I'd only put Maintenance bays if I didn't intend it to be a Warf and just a ED. Considering that behavior could be considered bugged that might be causing a problem now. I'd try removing the Maintenance dock. Also maybe only starting with 1 Fab and getting that working and then expand from there.

Did read somewhere the maintenance dock would also be used as a secondary build to double production rate if you have fab and maint, but not validated it myself....
