Station Announcements

Is there a way to turn off the station announcements off? For example "Ego Soft would like to thank you"? I get it and you're welcome.

I would like to turn her off completely, is this possible without losing other game immersion audio?

Seriously, so we have to listen to the same, dumb pot and pet jokes and RL sale BS every few minutes.

That announcement is annoying, nothing like killing immersion by reminding players... it's a game...sigh. I'm kind of surprise no one's put together a mod to remove or replace those sound files, it should be rather easy. The others I actually like and would like more relative to the lore of the game or even a current situation..."Please be careful, pirates are patrolling near the station, sector authorities have been notified." or EBS sounds "Warning, a Xenon K has been sighted near the gate!"

4 years later, one of the most requested QoL settings basically the ENTIRE community has been asking for since day 1, and Egosoft still refuses it. Seriously devs, get a clue.

that freaking announcements are EXTREMELY LOUD and ANNOYING.
Just add an option to turn them off or make them less loud.
