L freighters change equipment on supply ship?

why do all the L freighters trying to change equipment on supply ship? i can't see those L freighters to actually change anything. They just stuck there, cluster around the supply ship. What makes them want to change any equipment anyway, they are not damaged or something.
perhaps they're just tired of all the work and found a way to stop working.
turn off global resupply setting and remove all order helps, but i don't want to switch resupply setting all the time.

no, all they're turrets are pulse laser, so they shouldn't be rearming any missiles.

OK, next question: Are they assigned to the resupply ship in a role such as defend or just follow? If so, maybe remove their assignments and reapply the assignments? And just to make sure I understand correctly, do they have anything stuck in their orders queue?

Are they stealing crew from the supply ship? Don't know if they even can. Could also be resupply for flares/drones?

do they have cargo drones, flares. I saw this once when I ordered multiple freighters at once and some didnt have cargo drones. Not sure if bug or my fault.
I think there are 2 issues here.
1. ships take far too long to dock to change equipment, expecially if IS.
2. Ships waiting, Surely ships should not trot off to reequip automatically if the resupply ship doesnt have items in stock. should the supply ship only have a maximum of (x) ships waiting.
3. Could the supply ship not provide small items by cargo drone. - I made a transfer of repair and cargo ships to a destroyer and it had to dock!

Remove Nomad from boarding team and it should fix itself.

Also disable any re-suppy settings for Shajaku.

Ships assigned to carriers and aux. will repair and resupply.

the L freighters belong to stations,trader team, they're not assigned to the supply ship. and the L freighter stuck in "change equipment" [executing] order like forever, and the nomad stuck in "waiting for order" forever.

i don't think the can resupply crew members... all the L freighters do have drones, about 4 to 6 cargo drones only. not sure if they have flares or not..gonna check it later.

nomad is doing "get supply" order, and it's half way done i suppose. and yes insufficient wares do cause ship to stuck at "change equipment" order forever.
nomad and freighters both have enough cargo drones.
but my main question is WHY DO ALL MY FREIGHTERS WANT TO CHANGE ANY EQUIPMENT IN THE FIRST PLACE?

yes disable auto resupply and remove all order do stop them form acting like this. but i don't want to enable resupply in every fleet manually every time.
not sure why nomad have a subordination is a problem but i'll get it a shot.

Had this happen yesterday, even turning off resupply and canceling orders didnt stop the stuck in docking loop. 2 hours stuck docking to the resupply ship. Had put in a resupply/repair order, exchanged 1 repair drone for 1 cargo drone. Then let the AI resupply and it worked.

In order for ship to exchange stuff you need cargo drones they might be stuck without the ability to trade especially if you been relying on your large ship to trade with the station cargo drones instead of it own.

yes i found the problem, it turns out that it's somehow still related to the drones, but not cargo drones, it's repair drones this time. when you turn on global auto resupply( at least in "high"), all the L freighters will try to get a repair drone from the supply ship, in my case my nomad. it's fine when nomad is completely empty, but when you order it to "get supply" , and it made a long long list of trade orders, it somehow being recognize as available resupply ship, even before it got all the supplies.
so in my case, it's like this, nomad got some wares in cargo bay, but unfortunately drone components is at the end of the list, and it made the trade order but haven't got the ware. and all my L freighter which are searching for trade swarm to nomad, demanding a repair drone. and nomad stuck in waiting for signal, freighter stuck at "change equipment", these two commands kind of interlock each other, and form a dead loop.
nomad:" i'm getting supplies."
freighters:" stop! i want a repair drone!"
nomad stop unwillingly:"but i don't have drone components yet."
freighters docked at nomad:"yes you have, you have your drone components in your trade order list, now BUILD ME A REPAIR DRONE!."
nomad:" undock and let me get my drone components, then i can get you your repair drone,
freighter :" i ain't leaving without my repair drone."....
... dead loop

it's not a bug, but rather annoying, hope it get fixed.
