Bought new ship, cannot enter via Elevator

So I seem to have a bug where I cannot control any new ship I buy. I just bought a M-Trader and I cannot even board it as I am unable to interact with the elevator. Same with am M-Trader I bought, unable to interact with the controls or elevator. Ships is built and I even removed the captain and assigned one to my old ship.

Anybody know how I can fix this?

I just did, could enter cockpit but still cannot interact at all with controls. This is so frustrating

Edit - and even after entering I still cannot use elevator so cannot get out either.

Do you by a chance have a promotion quest on that station? It can hide the interact buttons on screen.

Try to open and close your Map,
Go into 3rd Person and back to 1st person view.

If that still not helps try to save and reload the game.

I do not know what can cause this behavior but i can tell that it is not save presistent... and therefore almost impossible to reproduce and fix on purpose.

Thanks for help. I tried save/reload and it didn't solve the issue, however I think I fixed it. I Transfered myself back and forth between new ship and old ship a few times and took control of the old ship a few times and eventually I could interact with the new ship. Strange as this happens with all ships I buy on this save.

I though maybe it's because the ship is still building but after 2 mins it says it is complete and removed from the build queue, maybe that is an error?
