Defence Station?
How to build it? I have only 2 split defence modules and weirdly enough I cant choose any turret in them.... What does it take to build defence station anyway?

Have you purchased the equipment blueprints for turrets and shields?

If you are just building your own defense platform, you start with an administration building module and build defense modules off that. You have to have the blueprints for all these modules first, including the blueprints for the different size turrets that can be placed on the defense modules.

You find and buy those off a faction representative as soon as you have the credits and reputation to buy them. There is another way of using a spacesuit emp bomb, on an npc station, to create scan points on the type of module you need blueprints for. That usually results in gaining the blueprint for free.

So modules with def. class together make defence platform? Still 4 to get 20 rep - but then I will build few to kill these stupid Xens....

I've heard that you have to build Administration module first, before the others. And blueprints for turrets and shields can't be retrieved through scan. So you have to buy them

only thing admin station is for is if you are trying to claim a sector or fulfill a build order mission. Do not need it just for a def station if that is its only purpose

NPC Defense platform build missions now require that one of the defense modules be an admin module.

Personally I like building admin centers just so the game doesn't Icon my Non-admin defense platform as a factory, annoying. At least you can change the text. It probably also helps to make them nice venus flytraps.

One thing to note, have all the materials in build before you hire a builder or your L Turrets won't get built. [BUG]

Seriously?
I just put together a defense platform and didn't do this. it is still in the process of modules being built. Is there something i can do to salvage the operation before the thing is completely built?
