Adv and Excep Mod Components

How do you get these and is there a reliable way to farm them?
Talking about the advanced and exceptional mod components, i.e. Advanced Engine Fuel Injector, Exceptional Shield Generator Coil etc.

I've seen them so far from Data Vaults and Missions but friggin hell the drop rates are abysmal and those Missions that reward them are extremely rare(2% chance of mod reward quest with 6% of that being Advanced and 4% being Exceptional, what i researched so far, this is Korean MMO RNG level kinda shenanigans man!!!) and are usually the crazy tedious mission chain types...

Guessing you have the PHQ that is where the research is done, the parts you can find from rewards from missions.

Holy crap, Ventures take even longer if not as long. Iirc its not affected by SETA right?
Man i hope they allow us to send multiple venture expeditions and improve drop rates from it.

Ventures is one method.
Guild quest/ War quest has a higher chance to show these as rewards compare to normal quest.

Sometime when a ship dies it can drop a good mod.(low chance but if you have a keen eye you can sometime see it.)

If your not using mod, the way I get it constantly is by doing the quests.

Well, there's actually a mod that makes these components craftable at the crafting table, from components that are a little easier to find. It will still be expensive, but at least not up to RNG.

You can kill the Rising Solitude Nemesis around the shipyard in holy vision if you are an enemy of HOP and they haven't been destroyed yet.

Better yet, capture them, they have awesome mods installed already.

I get them from war mission. kinda random but I feel ok.
