I was excited and got into a game and went to Exit the game and the game seemed to lock up. Had to bring up the old Task manager but even it wasn't showing up there. And it didn't show up on the Windows Bottom Bar, and Steam Showed the game still running after the exit.. So i did what anyone would do and uninstalled and reinstalled.. Was all excited again, until it did the same thing. So i decided to do a COMPLETE UNINSTALL. Here is how to properly do that. Before you uninstall from Library right click and find where you installed the Local Files keep that folder up but DON'T delete it just yet. Go back to Library and uninstall ( X 4 ) then delete the X 4 Folder where you installed Browse Local Files. After that just one more place to delete.. Go to Your PC Documents / Egosoft / X 4 folder and delete that as well. (Note you can save your save your save files there before you delete IF you wanna keep your current game. just look for Save Folder you will find your save games there.) After you backed them up if you wanted too. Delete the X 4 folder there as well. Then reinstall and all will be better.
This method may help fix any problem you are having IF you already tried to do a normal uninstall and you are still having issues.
I find signals, I get them to start talking, but it's never the scientist. It's always rand B.S. missions I don't need.
I'm not sure that you actually have to reject Bosa. I have a suspicion that, if you started to unlock a signal and then flew out of range, it might have the same effect.
But I don't think it matters which station it is.
if you refused it, it will take severall hours to appear again.
if you did the start with the station already owned, he will neve appear since he is already at the station.
