raptor or rattlesnake?

i currently have the rattle and i dont really have anything to kill with it. doesnt seem like there are many kill missions like in x3 and the I i just tried to take on pulverized it. is there any reason to keep going with this save? or continue to save up for the raptor?

Rattle can handle I's. Just gotta take out their legs. Requires some fancy maneuvers.

The Raptor is a great support capital ship, to use in fleets you want to defend a sector from or invade a Xenon sector with. It sucks however if you want to pilot it and use for solo fights against other capital ships. From my experience.

They are also very expensive to buy. Mine cost 82 million credits, fully decked out with the best of gear.

The Rattlesnake on the other hand, is in my opinion, the very best ship in the game. While it has relatively weak shields for a capital ship, it does have strong hulls and a fast cruising speed.
Mine, using a drag reduction modification, has a speed of 282. And with 4 main guns the player gets to control, is a very powerful ship.

But even so, you still need to be selective and use the correct approaches to take on Xenon Capital ships head on. Do think you can just stand still and go head to toe with a K. A Xenon I would be a even bigger mistake to try that tactic.
