Basicly by the time I got there, there were about 3 ships circling the repair points, so I'm guessing the station's repair drones were already working on it, so instead of 8 points I only had to repair 3 myself.
I'm guessing the same happens for trade goods. If a freighter goes there with what's needed, the mission just ends itself.
Could be, but why would I get the reward? Feels really strange...
Accepted a Resource Order Mission and it instantly completed itself and I got a 350.000 Cr reward... Is there something I'm missing? Does anyone know if it's a bug or mechanic that I'm not aware of?
There are very few missions that do not fail or succeed on their own if you wait long enough. And sometimes you are just unlucky to pick up the mission at the point is going to vanish and you can't reach the mission spot in time before the target object is either despawned/destroyed or in some cases repaired.
Hm ok. Still, I find it weird that you get a reward for doing nothing. The game should detect if the player did anything for the mission and just mark it as failed, if he didn't do anything... Oh well...
The station, with high priority needs, hires several contractors to do as much of the job as is needed. Once you have the contract, you get paid as agreed even if the other contractors completed it first. Maybe they get a bonus, I think I did once. And it is only done when very important.
I don't think the game keeps track of credits for the NPCs, but it does keep track of them doing the jobs and you can see them.
