What are Venture Modules?
They don't seem to fit on anything.

only the venture plattform fits to other modules and the venture modules only fit to venture plattform.
they´re for the online part of the game where you can send a ship on a mission for severall hours and it will come back with credits, items and paintjobs.
your ship will appear in other peoples game, just like theirs do in your game (on the map they´re yellow and usually have different names then the ones you´re used to from the factions.

To do this your game must NOT have any mods installed...

Note, you can't control your ships in other players games or anything... When I watch some lets play at the time, I did however see some of the same names.... so personally think some of it is just "fiction" and not real ships in other games.

Though I'm happy for players to say I'm wrong on that saying they have seen their friends ships in their game, but not seen anything like that yet.

So from what I understand, when you send your ship out on a venture it basically uploads the ship, gear and paintjob to a master list of ships out on ventures.

Then when the game decides to spawn one it grabs a random ship off that list and creates it.

Because of this the same ship can show up in multiple games at the same time.

Also unless the venture fails there is no reason to switch out the ship so most people keep sending the same ship out each time.

Can u destroy the ship?
Harag Apr 3, 2020 @ 1:54pm
No you can't destroy the ship.

@ Vaemer-rift - that is my understanding of it yea, though I've never actually used it as my game was modded before that even came out with a couple of QOL mods (not game changers).

Players can destroy or capture the ships that show up in their games, but doing so doesn't destroy the original that is docked in the venture module.

Works the same way as pawns in dragons dogma.

It is not multiplayer. It does not add anything to your game. You can receive some "ship and paint mods" from completing venture missions BUT you can also get the same ship and paint mods by installing a game mod from Nexus. So why bother? I can install 30 game mods and still get everything a venture mission would provide. No thanks, I disable Ventures in my games.

You know, some people like to Earn things in their game. Technically, you can get a Mod that Instantly gives you Everything the Game has to Offer... So Why Bother Playing.

Bottom Line is: If You don't like it, Don't Use It; but why go out of your way to get someone else not to use it either?

Ventures still works or it is just remains of that was before and not working anymore?

It is important for people to have a hobby, you can discuss whether it is a healthy one.
But I agree with you 100%, mods are destructive to player, and game.
but no1 care.
