Ship stuck in dock

So i docked at a station to do a mission, all good......then i walked over to the trader to buy some goods, all good.....when i went to get back in my ship (Nemesis) it was in storage which is normal for the ship and time i was on the station...so i waited to be able to board my ship which eventually i did but it wouldn't let me get into the cockpit. I tried all sorts of thing but no good so i teleported to another station and tried to get the ship to travel somewhere but nothing happened. I have tried everything, deleted all orders multiple times, tried logging out and back in the game but nothing is working...
Any ideas????

Fire the captain...he has commandeer the ship. Then without a captain, u will be able to board it.

Ok i finally got my Nemesis out by landing another ship at the station, telling the Nemesis cpt to transfer to the other ship as a marine then promoting a new cpt on the nemesis. But i still couldn't get on the Nemesis or get it to move so i tried to get the other ship to move but he wouldn't go anywhere either. So I had to jump in the new ship and fly it manually then all of a sudden the Nemesis was already in space near me.....Oh well at least i have both ships and saved the cpt.

just press Shift+D. U will be portet in your ship as long as it is parked at the pad, if it is in storrage than a window will open where u can select "bring it to pad" if u have more than one ship on a station and u press Shift+D that window will open and not port u directly so u can choose ur ship or bring one out from the storrage

also the ship will be raised allways on the closest pad to u

Yes I know all this and tried it all but when i pressed Shift D it took me to the air lock but wouldn't let me in the cockpit. Also no matter what i tried or how long i waited the ship never made it to the pad.

If the ship does not go to the pad, and you cannot go to it from the menu, then the station might have ordered it off of the dock to make room for an incoming freighter. It will be in space near the station. But it should come back to dock when there is an opening.

I have not tried to go out in my spacesuit, or small ship, to it. But you probably could.

I think you can tell by looking at the Behavior tab for the captain. It will show two or three commands in action to leave and then dock again.

No the ship was definately in the dock and when i first called it back up i could get into the ships airlock but it wouldn't let me in the cockpit but when i went back to the station dock it wouldn't even let me back onto the ship at all. The whole time i was trying everything i could think of the ship was in the docks storage area. there wasn't any other ships on the pad for ages yet my ship still didn't get recalled. I kept looking at the orders and they said what ever i told it to do but nothing was happening.

I get this bug a bit. Apparently, as long as you're in the ship, tell the captain to undock and fly somewhere and that should eventually unlock that door for whatever reason. This is one thing that at least fixes that for now.

Shift + D while the ship is docked will only stick you into the elevator portion and won't put you in the cockpit or anything. Same with using the Teleport if you have that research. Its an odd bug, but I work around it for now.
