Guild missions - will they ever end?
Guys, I wonder, if you do a lot of missions for a certain guild, will it come to any conclusion? Or it is just a stream of missions to gain something other than money?

I'd love to see that it matters. For example, if I do a lot of missions for Argon against Xenon, something meaningful is happening. Do you have some experience with this?

The missions are as good as infinite. Technically doing them does make some sort of difference as mission state is setup when the mission is generated, but these setups often naturally fix themselves over time.

Thank you. It's almost sad. I hoped there would be an glorious ending to each guild scenario.

I remember the corporation missions in xtc, I hated that they were not included in Albion prelude. They added so much as far as goals and rewards go. I think they all had a unique ship after you completed all the quests for each one. Dukes buccaneers was the hardest bein you had to either raise rep with pirates or hack the station to have access. But even then the pirate rep wasn’t shown unless you used a mod. So it was basically a cross your fingers and hope to find missions given by random pirates and different stations. Maybe Egosoft will eventually add some sort of story and mission chains connected to guilds for special rewards in the future as the the different corporations from xtc

My guess they are spending their time right now making some story lines and mission updates, possibly through DLCs.
They likely spent the development period getting the seamless transitions and open stations just right and didn't have any development time left over to integrate a complete story on top of that

It would be nice if the war missions tie into the sector take over system making it possible to take over the network with a faction. Unsure if it does at present I should add.
Guild missions should affect ressources and ships available for each faction, so the more missions you do the better the supply routes for the faction becomes meaning better equipment as well as more and larger ships for that faction.
