cant get my miners to mine methane for my station

so i got like 10 gas miners if i give automine command for methane they go find some and mine it but when i tried to give command of mine for my station they just circle around do nothing any idea ?

Have cargo space?
Ship outfitted accordingly?

Cargo drones, too (when L Miner)? A module that needs methane? Liquid storage and container storage on station?

has your station a liquid storage and a consuming module attached?

if you don't have a liquid storage & production module on your station your ships can not unload their cargo and therefore can not fullfill their purpose.

in that scenario they will either idle around your station doing basic maneuvers or, worse, go onto patrol duties.

Miners might take several minutes to determine auto mine actions.

Independent auto miners can also supply your stations, although they might choose to supply other stations with higher buy prices first. Assign one of the liquid miners for mining/trading for the station, and start the rest default order auto mining in the same sector as the station for Methane. Have the station restrict trade for Methane so it can only buy from your miners. If few are unloading on the station, consider getting more liquid miners.

Of course make sure that the liquid miners have space for Methane before doing this. If they have other gasses such as Hydrogen or Helium they might not be smart enough to drop the cargo to have space to mine the required Methane.

i even tried to build new miners for it nothing works :(

Available liquid storage, and consumer of the gases are a must. Once you have those, the station manager will send the gas miners out for the appropriate gas.

yep i realized i havent assign manager to station lol and then i read ur comment thanks everyone for help :P
