1. system, GPU, CPU, RAM, windows version (If you want help ALWAYS give system info)
2. validated game cache?
3. do you have updated drivers?
4. graphical settings, LOD slider set to maximum, try setting it back abit
5. if all fails try reinstalling the game
6. is youre system temperatures stable?

No it is not. I run X4 on a GTX 760 which is only slightly faster but many generations older. It has 4 GB of memory and is reasonably modern so will run the game fine (although AA and screen space reflection should be turned off for optimum experience).
These are not stress tests from what I can tell. They are intended to simulate a reaslitic gaming workload, however some games might deviate significantly from this work load and stress hardware in other ways. This is best shown with extreme overclocking where different tests have different clock speed limits due to the characteristics of the tests.
For GPU something like Furmark. I am not sure what a good one is for CPU.
Of course make sure your graphic drivers are up to date. Also make sure your display is connected to your GPU display interfaces and not the motherboard.
