Medium Miners.. Where!

I am having a hell of a time finding Medium miners! What wharf sells them? I have most of the map uncovered and I have not seen one ship mining gas either.

Make sure you’re looking for the right thing, ore miners have “Solid” cargo holds and gas miners have “Liquid” cargo holds.

Only some factions list the ships as Gas and Mineral miners , some don't which forces you to click on the two Medium miner ships to see which one is Liquid ( Gas Miner ) cargo hold. Bam...you just found the M Class Gas Miner. It's annoying for sure, because I ran into the same issue. ( Antigoners are not marked gas or mineral, just turns out the Sunder Miner is their Gas Miner )
Frieght Class are always containers , won't hold Solid or Liquid cargo types ( I know it's obvious to some, but this version of X doesn't explain anything in detail! )

Wharfs are always for S and M class
Shipyards are always for L and XL Class

Both Teladi wharfs carry both mineral and gas miners. I think you only need a neutral or better faction relation with them. Silicon and Methane do well in the Teladi areas.

Ok I am just not seeing any named Plutus or the other one Manorina. So Anything liquid mines gas?

Yes, the liquid miners only mine gas. The solid miners only mine ore, silicon, ice, and nvidium.

Pretty sure when you buy one its pretty clear what type it holds in the description. But, at the end of the day you'll probably find Silicon and Methane are the money-makers so it really doesn't matter which one you get.
