I suggest just to hardcode relations with SCA to something like -30, then use police mode and reveal this smugglers.
For example police ANT ship -> SCA ship-> destroy him.
You can't, but you shouldn't care, faction will take care of revealing SCA.
I set in factions.xml and for my save file releations with SCA to -1, and everything is working good. But if you don't have a defense then it will not help.
it really confuses me that nobody ever noticed this.. it is in the game since day one.
In that case I would say it has been bugged since day one and something in the fixes fixed this as in ~550 hours of gameplay I have never seen this happen.
I did tear down some modules of that station to afford some defensive platforms and it only got raided a few times after and after that with more upgraded modules with weapons it got plunderd only once so far.
Here's the thing though, I never used armament on my stations and used gunstar stations at a later stage covering the gate choke points as fleets can't insta jump (I-War/2 fan, sue me :))
This makes me more confused then you are eMYNOCK o.O
I do really wish the faction contesting unclaimed/liberated space would be fixed though.
Helping kicking out an enemy out of a conquered or retaken system and every one just ignoring is kind of a domper.
Something to cheer up as I was paying attention some where else for awhile and just keep buying M freighter fodder and wonder where all my money went:

Don't see that every day :D
Your screenshot is great
You obviously need a good standing with ARG to buy the 8M dock blueprint so you can build some of these
This will help you with that mess.... and don´t run the game in sinza all the time will sort a lot of things too (maybe this is one of the reasons why you constantly getting hacked so quick).
I never use Sinza once (only in some testing saves, but never in my normal playthroughs since it usually bugs out a lot of things).... i use these parts for early money gain.
The docks are fine, all that traffic is going to the build storage and it just kept piling up even more then it shows in that screenshot lol
From everything in the game, getting standing up with factions is a no brainer, get traders and more traders and more... and befor you know it you're a hero for doing nothing but making money to pay for a station.
Barebone M freighter only costs like 320K to build a trading armada, basically a shield/weaponless cargo fodder as they die trying to espace SCA or get rekt by Xenon.
I always use SETA because everything takes forever, the only time I'm not using it is when having fun with fleets wrecking stuff.
I usually can fly a cap for hours just shooting stations, even got the adblock achievement for it :P
I read this a lot in other topics things take ages.
To be honest most large scale projects i put into motion are more plan, trigger, forget come back later and reap the benefits.
I for my part have always something else i can fall back on or something new to plan and tweak.
I never ever have the urge to use SETA or see the benefit to waste time when instead i could do something different or complementary parallel instead.
So why does someone feel the need to use SETA is it because the meta in previous games was abuse SETA or is it the disinterest in other activities or something else i am just curious?
Two fair uses of SETA i can name:
1) Accelerate the building of a ship you REALLY need at that moment (I'm NOT a believer in 300+ Fleets)
2) Bring your victim... errrr... opponent closer faster instead of waiting to start a battle.
So, as I understood devs omits some calculations, lose frames, but that's still not enough.
I think, there should be gold point, make SETA works only on navigation map, with screen shading (to switch off general game animation), then we can accelerate SETA up to x10 instead of x5 without having lags (hypotethetically).
And yes, you are right about cases when you need to have SETA.
80% of the late game you are playing in navigation map and 20% in ship.
