What are the guided heat seeking missiles?
What missile launcher should i use to get guided, lock on missiles? And what missiles are those - the most powerful lock on missiles?

For the faster homing types, you use the tracking launcher. Torpedos are for the much slower, but still tracking (At least I ASSUME, have not botherd with them) torpedoes. Dumbfire is zero lock on "shoot where you aim and hope for the best"

I am honestly curious about the difference between tracking and heat seeking myself. See also: Smart missiles.

All we get displayed by the game info wise. Is that heat seeking costs more than the basic tracking type, and has sligtly better range/damage/speed/manuver numbers.

Meanwhile. SMART missiles cost WAY more. and are... overall worse than the cheap tracking missiles. At least according to the only visible statistics we have.

Swarm missiles at least are obvious in their design difference.

I have learned not to asume anything by an items/modules name as a means of description in any game..soo..that being said they really need to give us this info now rather then later

If it's anything like past X games heat seeking missiles have larger warheads than standard guided missiles, while smart missiles try to find a new target when their current one gets destroyed before they can reach it but I haven't tested it myself.
