Can't take Xenon ships?

So I managed to get a K Destroyer and some of his lackeys to follow me into ANT space through a gate, but it seems impossible to board it under any circumstance...

Took out all its escorts, engines, shields and turrets. Scanned it, 100%. No one but the captain inside. I had 9 marines with me. Tried to order boarding on and off the captain's seat, and it only said "impossible" for risk at the 3rd boarding phase. Despite my boarding party (all 9 marines selected) having overwhelming superiority against the defending force (which was just its two star captain)

Even with his destroyer completely stranded defenseless and hull taken down to single digits, he refused to bail. It had no drones whatsoever.

Are there any non Argon/Teladi/Paranid ships that can be commandeered?

Xenon are an AI race and have no life support or habitable space inside. The ship IS the Xenon so they can't be captured.

All Xenon ships have a human-habitable deck as per their lore.

you will need a mod to be able to capture a xenon ship, shouldnt take long before one comes out

I hope they allow them to be captured soon, their big ships look awesome

Khaak capture is available in Nexus, only basic for now so dont expect too much ;)

It's surprising they aren't capturable by default since they were in previous X games.
