Station miners never empty their cargo holds

So I've got my PHQ set up quite nicely, selling energy cells to the sector. I've been expanding it. Now, I need ore and stuff. I set up a manorina miner and a manorina gasser to mine for the PHQ.

The Gas Manorina seems to work fine, bringing methane in from BHS. However, my solids miner just...doesn't drop what he mines. He'll mine up 600 silicon, then go to the PHQ, and drop anywhere from 4 to 100 (that I've personally seen, and it appears random) silicon, then go find another asteroid to mine, with 500+ silicon still in cargo. If he drops a very small amount, then he'll get stuck in a loop of going to find another rock, realizing that this cargo is full, flying back to the PHQ, then before docking, deciding to find another rock again.

Resetting it doesn't seem to help. Manually emptying cargo, then resetting it doesn't either. Manager on PHQ is 2 and change stars, miner pilot is either 2 or 3. I have more than enough docking space (2 3M6S)

but it is known the PHQ is bugged right now,some of your ship cannot reach the dock and stuck around the asteroid/the ring
and sometime the manager decide the station do not need those thing,that's why your miner cannot dump their cargo into the station
is your PHQ equiped with the refinery to process those silicon?
OR have you saturated the silicon market in the galaxy?so no one is buying silicon anymore(i have,so no more mining for silicon as no one is accepting them)

I messed around with my miners until they worked correctly. Manually order them to dump their cargo at the station, then see what happens. Otherwise remove them from the command of the station and then put them back under the command of the station. Etc.

I have all the required facilities and multiple empty L size solid and container cargo.

I've done that multiple times. Now, my gas miner fills up and then just kinda floats around in the gas cloud, and my solid miner I just watched dock with 600 ore, execute a trade, and undock with 527 ore. Now he's off to find another asteroid. There's gotta be a better way to set this up than just manually telling them to dump every time..

first, build a cargo unit for gas or ore, then advise the ship via right klick to do mining for the HQ.
the ship will gather the minerals the HQ needs.

Worst case scenario, you could remove them from the command of the station and just have them auto mine and auti sell to anyone. Then have your station buy the ore from anyone. You might lose a few credits in the transaction but it shouldnt make much of a difference.

I would really hope to avoid this situation. While it is plausible to do this (relatively easily) with ore, there is no gas in the PHQ sector. That makes life...difficult.

Hi, reserecting this since it's still present in version 1.32. My miners attached to my PHQ are coming in, depositing a fraction of their load, and taking off again with most of their load still inside them.

My stations ore and silicone storage has reached zero while the miners fy around wit mostly full holds.

For a while it was working and nothing I can think of explains their change in behaviour.
