Where/how do you buy drones for a mining gas ship?
My gas ship won't sell. I read I need transport drones. OK, where do I get them?

You buy drones from equipment docks/wharfs or shipyards under consumables.

But if it's an S/M sized miner, it can dock anywhere so that's not the problem and most stations have a pier so L/XL should be fine too. Do you have up to date trade data on stations that are buying what it's collecting? Did you try removing all orders and issuing them again?

Yeah. I have *decent* data. I know a few stations that I have info on will take some of this hydrogen but unless I manually order it to sell it will not obey.

I should add that my other miner, the ore miner, works just fine

Only a L Size Gas collector would need drones.

If that is your Ship either upgrade the Ship at a Shipyard or Equipment Dock you find the Drones together with consumable.

OK this is weird. A bunch of my satellites appear to be missing. Can this happen?

OK this is weird. A bunch of my satellites appear to be missing. Can this happen?

check your log or your map.

Two things could have happend legit.
Someone blew em up Xenon, Khaak, Hillbillies you anme it.
A L or XL decided it to use it as Windshield decoration and draged it away i had seen this happen to NPC laser towers.
