Argon Vs. Xenon? (also where r black markets?!)

A few days ago I started that guild questline thing, I was told to talk to the guy in the war room, which I did, and I got a task to do something with some Xenon ship. I got caught up trying to make money instead and forgot about the mission, and now the quest line is gone from my trackers... Wth happened? any one else with this issue?

Also im curious where to find the "free" black market station, Ive searched many sectors but I find nothing on their fringes and after exploring half of one of the matrix sectors I still dont see one! Are they in the red sectors or maybe that one grey one in the upper left corner?

Most likely the ship was destroyed thus mission failed or no longer is available...

The other ones like argon vs holy order dont really interest me as I dont want to burn any bridges with one faction just yet.. Also, theres only like 2 factions you can buy ships from am I right? just argon and paranid??

No you can buy ships from other factions also.

Im trying to buy M ship from ministry of finance but im 17 rep with then and havent got the stupid military ship license :(

3 factions the Paranid, Teladi, and Argon and some sub factions that have variation stats that you can buy ships from. From what I can tell on the war missions they increased the chances on this recent patch of you getting them with certain conditions so maybe possible to come back? Not 100% on that. There are Xenon sectors on the top right, bottom right, bottom left and top middle. I have found some Pirate bases that I guess would be black market but they do not sell anything special from what I can tell.

The SCA guys are the pirates. Pirate stations are normally in neutral grey zones. SCA has an actual pirate base in blue zone. SCA also has its HQ in a neutral zone. You can join SCA at the HQ there and get the achievement. HAT have a pirate station as wel in blue zone. All the bases with the word pirate in it tend to buy/sell blackmarket things. They do not alway buy stuff for instance actual hacking tools are buy only not sell except the spacesuit EMPs.

Note this is what I've found in my game so far.

Later in the game dock a small ship you can then teleport to after you researched that to offload or buy stuff.
