The Pier is optional to start, but is useful later. If you've got a dock module blueprint and either own a constructor or have hired one, you're all set.
- Right-click on the station and click Plan Build.
- Select dock module on the left and place it on one of the available build points on the station.
- Give the station the money it needs to buy the hull segments, energy etc, and then select the constructor.
- If all the above is correct, the confirm button will be available.
I'm curious as to what a pier is for?
Ahh, I was confused, as many on this forum said the station comes with the materials in hand ready to build. I guess the builder had to go get them, or traders just dropped them to the builder or in space? How would the station accept goods with no docks or what have you lol
It did finally come and build the dock after a great deal of time.
I am also on the pier stage, I have no blueprint for a pier, and also no idea what they are for at the moment.
