No Selling or Buying Orders at My Station

How do you make a station trade with other NPCs? I just built my first solar plant and it has lots of energy cells, but it says it has no trade orders...

r-click your station -> select "Logical Overview"
In this window, open the "energy cells" (should be in the diagram at the top) production box.
This window will have "Sell offer" as an option. Select "Create sell offer" - you can adjust the price to sell for here also - or leave the game to auto-price adjust - if you want to pump out cheap easy cells (good for making quick money early) uncheck this and slide the offer price to the lowest possible rate. You'll empty out those storages in no time. :)

You can also assign a trading ship as a subordinate (if you have a manager in the station) - and they will auto sell your wares.

I don't see the "Create Sell Offer" at all... I do see the price selection and the buttons to be able to set the prices, but no create sell offer there. I've tried assigning a subordinate, but they don't seem to be doing anything either.

one of you guys can tell me how to bring energy cells from my own station to my other station please because it seems like it doesnt work and my station who need cells dont take the cells from mine but buy from another station ... and my storage is full of energy cells so i don't know why :'(

I can't trade and now I do have a manager but no options to sell in logical overview...

You may need to do this manually via a Container trade ship.

Highlight the trade ship, right-click on the station and select "Transfer Wares ...<station>" (1st "Transfer from" option). Then, use the slider to select how many energy cells to transfer to the trade ship. Click "Confirm" at the bottom. Then, with the trade ship still selected, right-click on the destination station and select "Transfer Wares .... <station>" (1st option again). Use the slider to select how many cells to transfer to the station, then click "Confirm". Your ship will then pick up the cells from station 1 and take them to station 2.

I do not currently know of a way to automate this process.

At the moment I'm try to figure this out as well...
HQ is stuffed with Energy Cells but nothing happens... I provided the HQ with a Tradeship... he sometimes comes around and takes 200 Cells to sell them... but there are several thousands of cells left...
So I build a Water thingy... no I try to figure out how to tell one of my Mining Ships to Mine ICE for the Station... its just floating around in space and watching the Stars...

select the mining ship and right click "mine for station"?

Ok, so the station started working now, the manager did work, I probably had to get someone of high enough skill to do things for me. Thank you!
