Vanguard vs Sentinel

Most ships seem to have two variants, the vanguard and the sentinel. The only difference I can see is that the sentinel has more health and capacity (and price). Is there any difference beyond health and capacity? Any reason to ever buy a vanguard when the sentinel seems to be better?

Speed, Acclaration, Twists and Turns.... basically EVERYTHING is different on them stats based.

Vanguard is faster while Sentinel sacrifices cargo space. In prior X versions, speed was great to beat out competitors with trading. In X4, your orders lock in your wares so space is better.

I think vanguard is useful for M ships, exploring, and dogfights.
