when i scaned and tried to repair with repair gun, it just broke and mission failed. How to repair that thing then ?

There is no problem on those missions i did it several times.
1- Dont get too close those leaks with your ship. If you start getting information from those leaks mission will fail.
2- Use your space suit and be sure you selected your repair laser and not hand laser.

If you cannot see a partial white bar above the leak, save & reload. The bar should be there, even when you have not selected the leak. Do not confuse it with the full white bar when selecting the leak. When the bar is there, jump in your spacesuit and fire your repair laser at the debris.

Make sure you disable scan mode while you repair it with your space suit repair beam. You can buy the repair beam from a trader at a station.

The object that you are repairing will have wires sticking out of it. Make sure that you are only aiming at the wires. Aiming and hitting the part that they're coming out if will break it instead of repairing.

I'm having a similar problem with the antigone trade guild repair mission. And this one is bugged. I've repaired a lot of data leaks, and after more than a dozen tries at this one, no dice, it's always destroyed. I hope that isn't the case with yours.

I think they are bugged. Always when the mission is to repair multiple leaks it completes already after fixing the first.

This is not an issue is a game feature. With a scanner on you get one result, without scanner but using repair laser you get another result. If you have the scanner on and try to repair it can end up that you trigger the wrong feature.

It also seems that the angle at which you approach the "repair" can effect whether you actually hit the repair mark. Coming at more directly then from the side seems to work better.

I think there may be a misunderstanding. Here is what happens in my case:

1. I pick up a data leak mission, get to the mission target, leave the ship.
2. The data leaks, when I target them, get selected, having their 'health bar' full.
3. At this point if I try to target the leak and use a repair laser, nothing happens. I target the correct place, the mission doesn't fail, just simply nothing happens.
4. I save the game, then load the newly saved game.
5. At this point the data leaks have about 1/3 health bar, and I can fix them with my repair laser without any issues.

The problem is that after fixing one or two, the remaining data leaks get a full health bar again, so I need to save and load again.

And what is with the negative rep from these missions, won't be doing these ever again.

Also as a note to the OP, there seem to be other anomalies around the station. When I did this mission you can hear static and it was very loud at the indicated waypoint also you can see what looks like a break in the exterior of the structure. However, there are areas around the station where you can hear someone saying "please help etc etc etc". This is not the mission objective, when in your ship if you hit shift-2 you can see them(kind looks like a lame firework).
